Job Title: Full-Time Armed Security Officer

Job Overview: As a Full-Time Armed Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining a secure environment through the use of firearms and specialized training. Your primary responsibility is to protect assets, personnel, and premises from potential threats while adhering to strict security protocols.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct regular patrols and monitor surveillance equipment to detect and deter security threats.

2. Carry and responsibly use firearms in accordance with established protocols and laws.

3. Control access points, ensuring only authorized personnel enter the premises.

4. Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, or alarms and take appropriate action, including the use of firearms if necessary.

5. Conduct thorough security checks on individuals, vehicles, and bags when required.

6. Provide assistance to visitors, employees, and emergency responders, demonstrating proficiency in handling firearms.

7. Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when required, providing support as needed.

8. Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of daily activities.

9. Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay updated on security procedures, firearm proficiency, and legal requirements.

 

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Proven experience as an armed security officer or relevant field.

3. Valid state security officer license and firearm certification.

4. Thorough understanding of firearm safety and proficiency in firearm use.

5. Excellent observation and surveillance skills.

6. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

7. Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.

8. Basic computer skills for monitoring surveillance systems.

9. Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for extended periods.

10. Strong sense of integrity and professionalism.

11. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
